I came across the work of Terry Dartnall, who proposes the inverse of C&C’s extended view (he calls it “Active Internalism”; “does the world leak into the mind?”; therein he gives a rather paltry example of mental rotation of a piece of jigsaw puzzle), but isn’t that just reinventing the wheel and calling it a “smheel”?
